hi all. this is late but hope still worth the wait. cheers! please go out and vote wisely (with God's wisdom) on Monday!

what else? uhm, advance post: there will be a FLOAT PARADE COMPETITION on sept 16. those who wish to participate should inquire with Dr. Jose Obedencio Jr., College of Veterinary Medicine. there is (minimal) registration fee plus some requirements re: float vehicle size and carbon emission (good!). this competition is for 3 categories: academic units, student organizations, and non-academic units.

on sept 16 and 17, visitors to the campus should take note that there will be designated parking places based on numbers that will be handed to you prior to entry at the main gate.

Centennial Logo Competition

Mr. Gideon Cabahug, Director of Student Affairs and Chair of the Subcommittee for the Centennial Logo Competition has announced the winners:

1st Place - Mr. Gibbson S. Berbigal, BSA 3 Agronomy (PhP 5,000.00)
2nd Place - Mr. Ian Paul Vaguchay, AB Pol Sci (PhP 3,500.00)
3rd Place - Mr. Loover Veloso, BSA 1 Horticulture (PhP 1,500.00)

Advance Notice: National Rodeo Cup!


On Sept 17 and 18, CMU will host a National Rodeo Cup! Open to teams of male students from universities all over the country. Registration fee? Prizes? More details will be posted soon. Registration Fee for Sept 16 and 17

According to Dr. Jose Escarlos, Jr. (President of the CMU Alumni Association), the Php 500 registration fee for Sept 16 and 17 covers the following:
PhP 100 (alumni dues)
PhP 200 (dinner, Sept 16)
PhP 100 (cocktails before dinner, Sept 16)
PhP 100 (alumni ID)

The Registration and Secretariat Committee will collect this fee at a designated tent immediately after the main gate.
Update: The construction of the CMU Centennial Landmark started at most 2 weeks ago. Its making progress...
