As part of the Pre-Centennial Celebration, the College of Agriculture has the whole month of June as facilitators/organizers of events and activities. Last night, it staged the "Aggies Got Talent" and for the first time in its 58th Foundation history, the faculty of the College ramped for a "fashion show" sponsored by Sophie Paris. Cheers!

Centennial Seminar Series 2010 (cont.)

On June 17, 2010, Dr. Antonio C. Laurena of the Institute of Plant Breeding (IPB) of UP Los Banos will be the keynote speaker for the opening of the University In-house Review at the Farmers' Training Center. This is organized by the College of Agriculture Crop Research Unit and the University Research Office viz a viz the Centennial Seminar Series. Dr. Laurena will talk on "Biotechnology on Corn."

It's going to be interesting next week. Could be worth to see who are the cool heads on campus. Freshmen enrollment will be over today. They had two weeks to do that. It's heat-warming to see freshies with their parents in tow. By next enrollment, you will be on your own :D. Cheers to all and this this your advance welcome come classes on June 7!

CMU Promoted Its Centennial at CHED

The university represented by a team headed by Dr. Victor Barroso including Prof. Jose Valmorida, Dr. Judith Intong, Dr. Louella Cabahug, Mrs. Josefina Vaguchay, Mrs. Agnes Lao, and Dr. Joy M. Jamago, participated in the CHED-organized SUCs Products Fair from May 17-21, 2010 at the CHED Atrium, Quezon City.
CMU ably promoted its products in instruction, research, extension, and production as well as its Centennial Year Celebration. It was quite an experience!
